What is Pilates?

Pilates is a form of exercise that everyone can do. It is rooted in the idea that movement should be healing and holistic and therefore is practiced in many different ways with various equipment to be more personalized and goal-specific. See our Explore Pilates page to learn more about the benefits.

What Pilates class should I sign up for?

All of our Pilates classes are for all levels unless specifically labeled otherwise. If you are new to Pilates we advise registering for our Intro to Pilates package where classes focus on being introduced to the equipment and practicing essential Pilates movements before moving on to more advanced/intermediate classes.

What should I wear to Pilates?

Wear what you are most comfortable in! Pilates exercises explore different ranges of motion so we advise athletic wear that you can move freely in. Come barefoot or with socks (whichever you prefer) and no-slip socks are available for purchase in studio. We also ask that you do your best to avoid thick zippers that can scratch our equipment.

Where can I park at Everyday Pilates?

Our studio is located in downtown Red Wing, MN with plenty of street parking in front of the studio. If street parking is unavailable there is a parking lot across the street located on the corner of W 3rd St and Bush St. across from Liberty's restaurant.

When should I arrive to my Pilates private/class?

You should always arrive to your Pilates session on time and ready to go. We respect our clients' time and strongly advise aiming to arrive a couple minutes early to give yourself time to get settled so that all classes may start and finish on time.

What ammenities are included with classes at Everyday Pilates?

When you walk in to Everyday Pilates you are greeted with a waiting space on either side of the door. There is plenty of seating, cubbies located under the windows to store your belongings if you wish as well as hooks for coats and bags. Other ammenities include balls in the waiting area for you to roll your feet out with prior to class, a water station, a changing room and a restroom.
